And while you can apply business astrology principles to each, there’s different pros and cons for each type of chart.

Personal Birth Chart
Your personal birth chart is the birth chart you’re probably most familiar with. That’s because this is generated using your birth information – your time and location of birth.
I see your personal chart as a snapshot of the sky of where the planets were exactly at the time of your birth.
This is static and never-changing in your chart – meaning you will always have access to this energy in this particular way in your personal chart.
This makes it perfect to build the foundation of your business.
Using your personal birth chart for business astrology is great if you have a personal brand or are the face of your business.
For most of my clients, this is really all you need to learn how to start your business, grow your existing business, or make more money using business astrology.
However, other charts (like the business birth chart) come in when you’re ready to involve more advanced astrology…
Business Birth Chart
Now outside of personal charts, there is the business birth chart.
What makes this different is that the business birth chart is generated based on your business’ birth information rather than your own.
This could be the time and location that you first came up with the idea for your business…
Or the time and location of when you first shared that you were open for business…
Or the time and location of when you first received official documentation…
It’s up to you.
What’s great about this birth chart is that it’s a way for you to dive even deeper into the energy of your business. There are specific areas that your business may highlight that aren’t activated in the same way as your personal birth chart, allowing you to see your chart in a new way for the goal of growing your business or making more money.
It’s also a great exercise in boundary work because it’s not dependent on your personal energy.
Which Birth Chart is Best For Business Astrology?
So when it comes to business astrology, which birth chart is best to use?
I always recommend my clients start with their personal birth chart – and here’s why.
Your personal birth chart is what you have constant access to.
And when I’m working with clients, this is the chart we always start with.
Your business natal chart, however, only accents certain energies that may or may not align with your personal natal chart.
Even though your personal birth chart is the foundation to your business astrology, your business chart (as well as other charts) become the sprinkles on top of the astrology sundae. They all work together to support you in finding the easiest path to success.
