What are the Eclipses?
First, let’s get on the same page about what the eclipses represent.
According to traditional astrology, eclipses throw off the balance in our lives because they block the light from the sun and moon.
The sun represents our mind and soul, while the moon represents our body.
For most of the year, the two luminaries work together to bring harmony and balance to our lives. But that becomes disrupted during eclipse season, when the Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse block that light to the sun and the moon, respectively.
So what does that have to do with eclipse season 2025?
What is Eclipse Season?
During eclipse season, you may find things to be more chaotic.
That’s because the luminaries aren’t able to work as they’re designed to.
You may find that eclipse season works similarly to a planetary retrograde, like Mercury or Saturn.
Similar to the North and South Nodes, eclipses are chaotic and malefic in nature.
Keep in mind that this feeling of chaos – uncontrolled or unexpected changes – will be concentrated to the areas of your birth chart that are ruled by the signs that the eclipses are occurring in.
So take care to note what signs the eclipses will occur in (as they always happen in sibling signs) and what houses those signs rule in your birth chart.
Additionally, if you have major luminary placements – especially a Cancer Moon, Leo sun, and/or Cancer or Leo Rising – you’ll may also be more impacted by eclipse season, no matter where it’s occurring in your personal astrology chart.
When is Eclipse Season 2025?
So when exactly are the eclipses happening?
These are the dates for eclipse season 2025:
March 14 (Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo)
The first eclipse of eclipse season 2025 is the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 14th.
The Lunar Eclipse in Virgo will go direct at 6:59 AM EST.
March 29 (Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries)
The Solar Eclipse in Aries will go direct at 10:48 AM EST.
This is the final eclipse in Aries.
September 7 (Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces)
The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces will go direct at 6:12 PM EST.
September 21 (Partial Solar Eclipse in Virgo)
The fourth and final eclipse of 2025’s eclipse season will be the Solar Eclipse in Virgo.
The Solar Eclipse in Virgo will go direct at 7:43 AM EST.
How to Prepare Your Business for Eclipse Season
Preparing your business for eclipse season is a major part of learning how to use astrology to your advantage.

Eclipses, by nature, are chaotic and malefic. So you may find that these changes are more challenging. However, the key to working with malefic nature is to embrace the difficulties so that you can overcome them.
